Happy Birthday to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - its not only Abhishek, we all love you.

Amitabh Bachchan gets animated, Priyadarshan to direct

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is all set to save the world, albeit in a digital avatar. The 'Shehenshah of Bollywood' is lending his voice for the feature length animated film, 'Twinergy', which is being directed by acclaimed filmmaker Priyadarshan. The film based on the universal theme of good and evil is filmmaker Priyadarshan's first animation project and will see Big B playing the lead as well as lending his famous baritone to his character. A B Corporation has entered into a tie-up with media entertainment major Toonz India to produce the full-length animated film. The pre-production work of the Rs 20 crore venture has begun in Toonz studio at the Technopark here and the film is expected to release during Diwali in 2010, P Jayakumar, CEO of Toonz Animation India Pvt Ltd told news agency. "This movie has several unique features. This is for the first time that a Bollywood icon associating with an animated film. Also, this is the first animated film by Priyadarshan," Jayakumar said. "For Toonz India, this also part of its 10th anniversary projects. We have been able to make a global mark in animated entertainment during this period," he said. The film revolves around twin brothers of a magical kingdom, with Bachchan's character finally saving their world from evil, he said. A royal family, united by love but divided by misunderstanding, adopt the twins Dhruva and Vajra into their fold. United by their powers and benevolence, they become divided due to machinations of a greedy and power hungry uncle. In the end, the twins realize that energy is more than power and when properly balanced it binds everyone together. "We are sure it is going to entertain both children and grownups alike and set them thinking," Jaya Kumar said.

Aamir Khan jealous of Sharman?

Well looks like all is not well between Aamir Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani. And it's not just because their disagreement over the film promos. Apparently, Khan is not happy with his lack of prominence in 3 Idiots. Oh yes! And that's not all darlings. He wants director Hirani to turn things around on the edit table.Trust Juicy Mausi to get you the juiciest stories in town.

Well, so when I learnt about this teeny disagreement, I immediately tried to my little birdies.Apparently, Khan's Rang De Basanti co-star, the unassuming Sharman Joshi has simply taken the cake complete with the cherry as far as 3 Idiots is concerned. Of course, it was not meant to be that way. Aamir is after all the lead guy!

So, now Aamir wants the director to turn things around in post production. How he does that, if he does anything at all, is what I would love to know and see. However, when I went around asking about the same, many defended Aamir saying that he has never had any problems working with an ensemble cast. Take RDB for example. Or a TZP for that matter. It's not that he is vying for prominence, said many.

Apparently, the problem seems to stem from the fact that nobody, not Aamir, not the director, nor anybody else had envisioned Sharman's character the way it has actually turned out. Not that anybody could be blamed for it either. So will Hirani change it and try to stick to the original plan? Or will he stick to what has already been shot? Knowing the man, I would say, he might just comply to Aamir's wishes. After all, who doesn't want peace?

Ranbir, Deepika’s love story comes to an end

Constant fighting has taken a toll in their relationship. Young couple of Bollywood Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor has almost ended their relationship. The spark between them is missing and it seems that they are now two different individuals. They attended parties together but always maintained a distance. The tensions in their relationship were very much evident. Deepika complains that Ranbir is no longer committed to her where she finds time from hectic schedule to meet him. Moreover, Deepika feels insecure about the rumor of Ranbir and Katrina’s affair. Ranbir and Deepika are dating for almost two years but Ranbir’s mom Neetu Singh is not in favor of their relationship and Ranbir is finding hard to go against his parent’s choice. Both Ranbir and Deepika are young and focused in their career. They are destined to build up their career now at the cost of their relationship. A source close to the couple says, "Yes, they are going through tough times, but hopefully they will emerge out of it smiling. There are still feelings there. And they both want to make it work."

Zayed Khan's parents traumatized after watching Blue

"When Sanjay and Zarine Khan watched their son Zayed do those never-before heart-in-the-mouth motorcycle stunts in Blue, they threw a royal fit. Ever since his near-fatal fire accident in 1989 in Mysore during the shooting of the serial 'The Sword Of Tipu Sultan' during which Sanjay Khan suffered extensive burns and almost lost his life, both he and his wife are paranoid about shooting mishaps.
When their only son Zayed decided to become a movie actor, Sanjay and Zarine's first and only pre-condition was no dangerous stunts. Says Zayed, 'It was almost like a holy diktat, not to perform anything that would potentially harmful to me.'
Until Blue, where, on the script level itself, Zayed could see that his two lengthy mo'bike chase sequences on the 'Ducati 999' were potentially more lethal than anything the average action hero performs.
Says Zayed, 'I had two options. Either say no to the most exciting role I had been offered so far. Or hide the truth from my parents.'
Zayed chose the latter option. And went on to do the most explosive mo'bike stunts with his heart in his mouth. 'Not because I was scared but what would my parents think and say when they saw what I had done.'
When Sanjay and Zarine Khan saw Blue, their reaction was worse than what Zayed had anticipated.
Zayed's parents were distraught. Their horror mounted as the couple saw their son whiz past the most dangerous check posts ever created for a stunt actor.
Says Zayed, 'When I saw their reaction, I had to do some quick thinking or else my parents would have truly freaked out and probably ordered me to give up movies. My helmet which covered my face through most of the mo'bike racing saved me. I told them it was a body-double doing those stunts.'
The fact is Zayed did most of the action scenes. 'Am I some kind of a sissy to let a stuntman do them? No way! I had accepted the role only so I could do these stunts. Except the moment when my bike jumps on to a train, all the other stunts are mine. And that train stunt, I didn't do because my action director said he wanted me to be alive to complete the film.'
After reading this, Zayed hopes his parents would accept the truth. 'If you are an actor you got to do it all. One can be wounded even while standing under a roof. Jo hona hoga woh hoga.'"

Aamir Khan in Yash Raj's show Rishta

Media reports suggest that Aamir Khan is, after all, doing Yash Raj Films' reality show Rishta.com. As the title suggests, the show is about matchmaking. The other big stars to make an appearance on the show are Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta, Uday Chopra, Ritesh Deshmukh and Tabu. But reportedly, Yash Raj wants Aamir Khan to make what it calls the grand entry on the show. Surprising, considering until now it was Shah Rukh Khan who was the studio's blue-eyed boy!

SRK-Sunny patch up after 16 years

It's time for patch-ups in Bollywood, a few months ago Kareena Kapoor had resolved her differences with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and now it's Shah Rukh Khan turn to do the same but with fellow actor Sunny Deol.

It took both the actors almost 16 years to patch up. The two were last seen in Yash Chopra's film Darr and it is reported that during its filming olny the two got into a fight and had not spoken since then.

And the person responsible for the patch up is none other than director Subhash Ghai, who hosted a party on Saturday night where both Shah Rukh and Sunny Deol were invited.

According to reports, Subhash re-itroduced the two and the actors apparently shook hands and ended up chatting for a long time.

Shahid caught up in US airport drama

The Kapur has now become the Khan...well, almost. Like Shah Rukh before him, Shahid Kapur too has had to spend some involuntary time with US immigration officials who stopped his valet Mohammed Manjoor Allam at the New Jersey airport recently. Instead of leaving the old man to his fate, Shahid decided to stay back and go through the grind with him.

Shahid was in the US alongwith co-star Anushka Sharma, choreographer Ahmed Khan and other members of the unit to shoot for Parmeet Sethi's untitled venture being produced by Aditya Chopra. While the team had no problems during the first leg of their filming in Philadelphia, Allam was asked to step aside for questioning at the New Jersey airport. The session with Allam reportedly went on for 90 minutes. Allam has been taking care of Shahid since childhood and has travelled extensively with him all over the world. However this was his first visit to the US.

Shahid chose not to leave Allam alone in his predicament. According to reports, he sat through the entire session with him and even helped answer questions on his behalf, since Allam is not comfortable speaking English. Shahid's valet was allowed to clear immigration later.

Shahid is the second major Bollywood star in recent months who has been held up at a US airport due to immigration problems. Earlier legions of Shah Rukh Khan's fans were outraged when the actor was detained at at Newark airport. The Badshah of Bollywood was reportedly interrogated for over two hours after American immigration officials spotted the 'Khan' in his name, his aide told the media. Shah Rukh was on his way to Chicago to attend a function to mark India's Independence Day when the incident took place at Newark airport.

Besides Shah Rukh and Shahid, the other Indian stars who have faced problems at US airports include Irrfan Khan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, John Abraham and Malayalam superstar Mammooty.

Hrithik in Vishal Bharadwaj's next

He carved a niche for himself in filmdom with non-starrers like "Makdee" and "Maqbool".
Vishal Bharadwaj
Vishal Bharadwaj

But composer filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj now says star presence is extremely important for a film's box office success and that he is trying to rope in Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan for his next movie.

"I think stars are very important to reach out to the people. Along with that they are good actors as well. I think Shah Rukh (Khan) is a very fine actor, so is Aamir (Khan), Hrithik (Roshan), Saif (Ali Khan) and even Shahid (Kapoor)," Bhardwaj told IANS.

"If the audiences love them and they don't mind coming to the cinema halls to see their faces and their costumes, then that's good because we can tell a story through them," added the director who teamed up with big stars for "Omkara" and "Kaminey".

He made his directorial debut "Makdee" (2002) with Makrand Deshpande, Shweta Prasad and Alaap Mazgaonkar. The only big name in the cast was Shabana Azmi.

Two years later, Bhardwaj came out with his highly acclaimed movie "Maqbool", an adaptation of Shakespeare's famous play "Macbeth". It didn't boast of a star line up either -- Pankaj Kapoor, Irrfan Khan and Tabu formed the cast.

But his next directorial venture "Omkara", again based on Shakespeare's play "Othello", was bejwelled with big names like Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Vivek Oberoi.

His latest hit "Kaminey" too had Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.

Now Bhardwaj is trying to sign Hrithik and Priyanka for his next venture. "I am in talks with Hrithik for a film but nothing is confirmed at the moment. However, Priyanka is confirmed for that project," he informed.

The 49-year-old started his Bollwyood innings as a composer for Gulzar's "Maachis" (1996) followed by movies like "Satya" (1998) and "Chachi 420" (1998) before taking on the director's mantle. He has proved his versatility as a music composer, singer, writer and filmmaker.

When asked what among these gives him maximum creative satisfaction and enjoyment, Bhardwaj said: "Enjoyment keeps changing. When you are making a song and it turns out to be very good, then you enjoy that process and that gives you creative satisfaction.

"Similarly, when you are making a film, you keep struggling on it for seven-eight months to set it right and finally when you see the result then that too gives you creative satisfaction and enjoyment. Satisfaction, happiness, enjoyment are all very momentary. They keep changing," he said.

Bhardwaj was in the capital to attend the 11th Osian's Cinefan Film Festival and said that such festivals are imperative so that movie aficionados can see entire films without any censorship.

"People need to see the entire films. Normally, the censor board cuts half of the film; at least there is some place where we can see the film without censorship," he said.

He also feels that censorship should be a personalised thing. "We should be our own censor boards. It should not be imposed on us. This censor board came from the British because they didn't want the Indian movement and Indian struggle to be seen by others, but somehow laws in our country don't change," he rued.

Hrithik warned over loud music at mummy's birthday bash

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan had some uninvited guests at the birthday bash of his mother, when police turned up to warn the actor against playing loud music at his suburban Juhu residence. The 'Kites' actor had thrown a huge party to celebrate the birthday of his mother Pinky Roshan and had invited the who's who of the Bollywood including celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Amisha Patel and Shilpa Shetty last night. But the loud music at the party earned ire of actor's neighbours, who called the police to intervene. Police reached Roshan's 8th floor apartment in Plazzo building in Juhu Vile Parle Development (JVPD) area at around 2.15 am after receiving calls from a neighbour.

As rumours of Prabhu Deva launching Nayanthara in Bollywood is making news in Mumbai tabloids, the couple prefers to keep a low profile.

Asin talks about her London Dreams Co-Stars Ajay and Salman

She recently worked with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn in London Dreams and she says, “When I came on to the sets of London Dreams I didn’t know either Ajay or Salman. I knew they were way senior and was anxious just like any newcomer would, understandably, be. And then I had heard so much about them from different people.

Talking about Salman’s bad-boy image, she adds, “I had heard that he is very temperamental and erratic! Having worked with him helped dispel all those myths. He is a sensitive actor, who went out of his way to make everyone comfortable.

The actress is all praises for Ajay too. “Contrary to popular belief, Ajay was not reticent at all. He was very helpful and friendly! I realised that you find out the truth about people only when you work with them and get to know them better.”

Ram Gopal Varma has a secret daughter

Ram Gopal Varma is one big magnet for controversies. Now, what can be a bigger controversy than the whispers of a secret daughter out of wedlock for the Bollywood director? A news daily has claimed that RGV, the bold director of Bollywood, has an illegitimate daughter in Hyderabad. Although news abound about him having a family in Hyderabad, the filmmaker has always been tight-lipped about it. However, the outspoken director has time and again let slip publicly that he doesn`t believe in the institution of marriage. Could this be a hint at the truth behind this new development? His daughter is reportedly in her early twenties and is studying medicine. If this is the truth, why not be your bold self and admit the fact in public, Ramu? He is reportedly shooting in Hyderabad for ‘Rakta Charitra’ and he met with his family last week.

Not even Saif's film, which is like my own home production."

For now, the actress is looking forward to her two upcoming movies, ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Kurbaan’.

Who's the idiot: Aamir, Hirani clash!

Raju Hirani and Aamir Khan have been getting along during the making of 3 Idiots ... so far. Given Aamir’s reputation as a
Raju Hirani and Aamir Khan

Raju Hirani and Aamir Khan More Pics
controlling actor, there were bound to be creative differences.

The first crack has appeared as Aamir has disagreed with Raju Hirani over the promos that the latter has selected. The actor is convinced of his views, but Raju isn’t budging either. It seems like a clash of egos is in the offing as both, the actor and the director, have proved their creative mettle.

The conscientious Raju Hirani and an equally dignified Aamir Khan did not get into a verbal disagreement, but Aamir quietly left the office as he was entirely unmoved by the promo selection. The clash may lead to problems with the promotions as Aamir now remains unavailable to the film’s unit.

Our source said, “There were three promos cut for the first look. The selected promo will be incorporated with the release of London Dreams on October 30. One promo was unanimously rejected by the three strong-headed guys, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, director Raju Hirani and actor Aamir Khan. The promos which Aamir preferred showed the film as it is, while Raju wanted to show the spirit of the film in its first look. Raju was not in favour of the promo which was cut on Aamir’s behest. So, when Raju said that he wanted to use the promo that he has finalised, Aamir tried to reason with him for close to 45 minutes. Aamir then realised that Raju wasn’t going to change his decision. An irate Aamir just left the office. The creative difference happened on Sunday at Vidhu’s Bandra office and Aamir has not visited them since, although the unit has been calling him. There was also a promotional event planned for Oct 29 for the unveiling of the first look of the film. But no one knows if it will happen now.”

The source further said, “Not many directors have the guts to stand up for their ideas in front of a star like Aamir Khan and put their foot down saying that they want something their own way. Aamir might be upset right now, but we are sure that his respect for Raju will bring him around. However, right now all’s not well.”

Aamir Khan and Raju Hirani remained unavailable for comment

Amitabh Bachchan asks a young girl out for dinner

Many young girls still wish their dream guys to be tall, dark and handsome just like Amitabh Bachchan. So, if you have a magical lamp which has Amitabh as a genie, what would you do? Thus, during a press conference for the publicity of Bollywood version of classic fairytale Aladin in the capital, little did a young journo know what was coming her way? In her usual zeal she expressed her desire to Ritesh Deshmukh that if she had a magical lamp with Big B as the genie, she would rub the lamp every few seconds just to see him. And the very next moment, Amitabh, who was in a jolly mood, asked her for a dinner date. As reported, Bachchan took the mike before Ritesh could reply and asked the journo, “Young lady what are you doing tonight? If you are free I would love to take you out for dinner.”  Left aghast with the sudden proposal, the girl started blushing with embarrassment while the press had a field day. Ritesh came to her rescue and said, “Actually, I agree with you, I felt the same urge. Who would not?” True, but the only problem is getting one’s hands on a magic lamp!

Anushka Sharma chosen over Deepika Padukone

Anushka Sharma entered Bollywood in a grand way starring opposite SRK in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. She has also signed another film opposite Shahid Kapoor to be directed by Parmeet Sethi. Now the actress has taken a step closer to success by replacing Deepika Padukone in a commercial for hair oil. Grapevine has it that Parachute have shot their new commercial with Anushka and the ad will hit the small screen soon. Deepika was replaced because of her high price. She had signed the brand long before she shot to fane with ‘Om Shanti Om’ and now her prices have naturally gone up. So, the company opted for Anushka instead.

Abhishek and Aishwarya sizzle in soap ad

They are surely the most sought after couple in Bollywood and now Aishwarya Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in a sizzling ad for Lux. Aamir's secret coffee date

Believe it or not, the star stays awake almost all night, chatting with his 'online friends'.
But none of his friends know that the profile name 'Pucca Idiott' is actually Aamir Khan.
When DNA got in touch with the star on his personal ID, he confirmed his late night chat sessions. But that's not the end of the story -- Aamir has also started meeting his late-night 'friends'.
DNA also got hold of pictures of Aamir Khan meeting one such friend in a coffee shop.
His spokesperson has now confirmed that he does meet some female fans at coffee shops in and around Bandra. "He not only makes new friends but goes out to meet them too. He recently met a female friend whom he first started talking to on Facebook. The girl in the picture is Annie Gill. She is his Facebook friend. Aamir did meet her over coffee," the spokesperson said. According to sources close to Aamir, the urge to come on Facebook, chat up fans anonymously and then meet them in coffee shops stemmed from a desire to shed the usual starry aloofness.
"Aamir Khan has been interacting with people on social networking sites under various pseudo names. Pucca Idiott is only one of them. On his blog, he is a star, and mostly fans visit it. He wants to make friends on Facebook and not just talk to fans, as he genuinely wants to understand their likes and dislikes. He has been very active on Facebook for over a year now and has been connecting with the youth. He met this girl (Annie Gill) a few days back even though he is keeping a very busy schedule," added the spokesperson.
So if you are looking to meet Aamir, you know just how to get started.

3 Idiots to release simultaneously on DTH

Aamir Khan has made movie marketing an art. And of course, he excels in it. Did he not prove that with 2008 blockbuster Ghajini? Now, Khan is focussing on his forthcoming release 3 Idiots.
To rake in maximum profits, Aamir has come up with a new strategy for the Rajkumar Hirani film. He has apparently planned to release the film simultaneously on direct-to-home (DTH). What's more, this plan will even work against piracy.
A source from the industry informs, "Aamir Khan was earlier keen on releasing his film Ghajini on DTH format. The plan did not work out. But this time he wants to release 3 Idiots on DTH in the first week itself. He wants the film's total profits to go to the filmmakers and not to the film pirates. The pirated DVD will cost a customer Rs 100 but they can watch the same film and a better print for just Rs 75 on DTH. This will also ensure that a larger number of people watch his film."

Asin said that she would never do something vulgar, what about these pics :D

"I would never do something that is baseless, vulgar and indecent, something I am not comfortable doing and therefore can't do justice with," Asin said.
"When I choose a film, my criteria are script, role, director, producer and then co-artist. Language or financial issues never determine what film I want to do," she added.

Katrina Kaif gifts Underwear to Nana Patekar

Be on your guard when Ajay Devgan happens to be around. No one cautioned Katrina Kaif about her prankster of a co-star on the sets of Rajneeti. Devgn, who is quite notorious for playing pranks on his co-actors, pulled a fast one on Katrina when she suspected the least. On the sets of 'Rajneeti', he came up with a madcap idea to pull Kat's leg. According to the stories trickling from the unit-members, Devgn first took everyone on the sets, including the actors Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpai, into confidence. With a straight face he told Katrina that it was Nana Patekar's birthday that day and she should wish him and present him a cake on everyone's behalf. He also told her that a cake had been arranged already.  What next? Kat was game. She dressed up in a salwar-kameez and went to Nana with the cake box given by Devgn.  Lo! What did Nana find when he opened the box - a tattered underwear, a purani chappal and a fake moustache. While Katrina was shell-shocked for a few seconds, Nana understood the prank. Meanwhile, Ajay, Arjun and Manoj burst out in peels of laughter. Kat, too, took the prank sportingly and joined in the fun. True, when it comes to playing pranks, Devgn takes the cake.

After having worked with some of the biggest of directors in Bollywood, superstar Akshay Kumar is now all set to go west. Apparently, Hollywood director David Ellis, who has directed films like The Final Destination, is very keen to work with Akshay Kumar after seeing portions of his latest film Blue. David happened to get a chance to see some rushes of Blue when director Anthony D'Souza was doing the final mixing of the film in Los Angeles recently. Khan and Kapoor were initially meant to star in Mani Ratnam's Lajjo, but the movie was shel- ved. Subsequently, they were cast in the lead roles for Mr Singh and Mrs Mehta, but when Khan had a disagreement with director Vishal Bhardwaj, even this project did not take off. Now, finally, these two superstars come together, and it seems that to celebrate them uniting on screen, the movie has them sharing three hot kisses. No wonder Aamir's wife insisted on being on the sets.

Bollywood beauties cheer Manish

Manish Malhotra, who is gearing up for an upcoming Couture Week was pleasantly surprised to see a bevy of beauties (which included the likes of Shilpa Shetty and Deepika Padukone) crowding his showroom in Bandra — along with Jermaine Jackson and his wife Halima last week.

A source said that, "Jermaine and Shilpa visited Manish Malhotra's showroom in Mumbai. Shilpa and Manish are very good friends. Jermaine thinks Manish Malhotra is a stylish designer who has made a mark internationally and wants to be styled by Manish for his forthcoming show." Deepika Padukone too walked into the store to shop for Diwali, and was shocked to see Jermaine and Shilpa with Manish in the store. The source added, "The four had a good time."

Manish confirms that Jermaine and his wife Halima, Shilpa Shetty and Deepika Padukone with her mother had come shopping. "Jermaine ordered a sherwani and flared kurta while Halima bought an outfit too. Deepika bought a saree. Shilpa had told me that The Jacksons had wanted to meet me in Mumbai. Jermaine told me that that we should must do some work together. He especially asked me to work on an outfit for his show in Vienna." Manish had earlier styled Michael Jackson in New York for the Bollywood Awards. "I had given MJ an open sherwani, kurta and pants while for his Munich show he had worn a white brocade sherwani."

How Asin got her (London) Dream Job

After making a smashing Bollywood debut opposite Aamir Khan in Ghajini, all eyes will be on the south-Indian superstar, Asin Thottumkal, in her second major release, London Dreams.
The winner of several Filmfare Awards moved to Mumbai to carve a career in the Hindi film industry after Ghajini became a historic hit and producers began queuing up to sign her.
Contrary to popular belief that Vipul Shah cast the 24-year old in his magnum opus after Ghajini, she was pencilled in as Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan's lady-love well before her maiden outing.
In London Dreams, she plays Priya, a young music enthusiast who joins Arjun's (Ajay Devgan) rock band in London. Said Vipul: "I had seen Asin in a couple of big South films and really liked her work. I was looking for someone who could essay a beautiful Iyer girl, adept at both classical and western dance, and yet look like she's been born and bred in London. I signed her even before the first promo of Ghajini came on television. Taking a newcomer opposite two big stars was a risk but I was confident of her and followed my instinct. When Ghajini clicked, I knew I had made the right decision."
London Dreams releases worldwide on October 30 and is being distributed internationally by Studio 18.

Ajay Devgn got tattooed

After Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgn has become the latest actor to join the tattoo brigade in Bollywood, thanks to his
Ajay Devgn

Actor Ajay Devgn during the shooting of 'London dreams' at Kurali. BCCL
'All the Best' co-star Sanjay Dutt who forced him to go under the needle.

The actor who has also changed his surname from 'Devgan' to 'Devgn', has got an inking of Lord Shiva on his chest, similar to the one sported by Dutt who has six tattoos on his body.

"It's a Lord Shiva tattoo and Sanjay forced me for it. I got it made during the shooting of 'All the Best'," said Devgan who was in the city to promote the upcoming comedy flick.

The actor who is also producing the film had launched the music of the film at the Siddhi Vinayak temple, but said that the changed surname had nothing to do with superstition.

"There is no superstition involved with this change of my surname for the movie. My family wanted me to change it for long and I was really apprehensive but finally I have done it," Devgn said.

The actor who shares the screen with Bipasha basu, Mughdha Godse and Fardeen Khan in the comedy flick said that shooting for the film directed by Rohit Shetty, was like "one big party".

"The film has actual humour and it's a clean comedy. The idea while making a comedy film is not to be different, but be good and new. I have good tuning with Rohit and 'All the Best' has much more humour then my earlier films," says Devgn who was previously worked with Shetty in the hits 'Golmaal' and 'Golmaal Returns'.

The film sees Devgn play a con man called Prem Chopra. "This Prem Chopra is not influenced by the real Prem Chopra. He is a trickster who thinks he is very smart but he is a fool who lands everybody in trouble with his deeds," the actor said.

However, the movie is facing legal trouble with another producer Karan Ramsay moving the Bombay high court claiming a copyright over the film's script.

"I am in Delhi now and I have heard about these allegations. I will see to them when I reach Mumbai," the actor, who has also produced the film, said.

The national award winning actor who began his career as an action hero with 'Phool Aur Kaante' said he does not want to restrict himself to a particular genre.

"It's not that I want to do only comedy or only action films. I am lucky enough to do all kind of roles. You have to work in different movies otherwise you will get bored," he says.

The actor's other upcoming film 'London Dreams' which is slated for an October 30 release sees him re-uniting with Salman Khan after a decade. They last worked together in the 1999 hit 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'.

"I maybe acting with Salman after ten years but its not that I haven't been seeing him but it was good to work with him after so long," Devgn said.

The actor's other upcoming projects include 'Rajneeti', 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai', 'Naam' and 'Golmaal 3'.

Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan may never act together

All Hindi movie fans may look forward to a movie with two of these khans together, but looks they they are not at all interested to share Onscreen glamor for whatever reason.

Rajkumar Santoshi managed to bring the big Khans for a joint narration of London Dreams, which was titled Rashque then, but he couldn't bring them together on the big screen. It's said that both Aamir and Shahrukh loved the script and wanted to sleep over it before starting its shooting. However, the director couldn't trace them since then. So, Salman Khan was roped in for Aamir's role and Ajay Devgan was roped in for Shahrukh's role. It was also reported that Oscar award winner Danny Boyle is planning to cast them together in Bombay Velvet but sources said that it's very unlikely for the superstars to rub shoulders. So, their appearance in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Pehla Nasha (1993) could be the first and last!

Aamir Khan and Mohanlal in a film

Looks like Aamir Khan has managed to enter Akshay Kumar's camp, after Akki went back to supporting Shah Rukh Khan.
Apna Aamir mamu is all set to star in Akshay's favourite director Priyadarshan's film. My birdie tells me it's a social film on AIDS.
Not only that, this project will also feature southern superstar Mohanlal.
Apparently, Priyan had approached Akki for the project but was turned down. Well, Akki's loss is Aamir's gain!
